Mother Earth Connector determines your personal resonance frequency — using only your iPhone’s camera.
Your breath and your heartbeat are connected. With every inhalation, your pulse accelerates slightly; with every exhalation, it slows down. At a specific breathing rate — your resonance frequency — both sync up to the maximum degree. This rate is different for everyone, typically between 4.5 and 6.5 breaths per minute.
Most breathing apps still give everyone the same standard pace. If you practice at a uniform tempo, you are training past your own optimum.
Measured, not estimated
A guided calibration run determines your personal value. The front camera captures your pulse via photoplethysmography (PPG) — without a chest strap, without a sensor, without accessories. The algorithm was benchmarked against ECG reference measurements during development.
And if a measurement doesn’t provide a clear result, the app tells you so. A measuring instrument that indicates what it cannot measure is not one.
Afterward, the breath pacer guides you exactly at your pace. The method: resonance frequency training according to Lehrer/Vaschillo, one of the best-researched breathing techniques in HRV biofeedback — designed for a few quiet minutes a day.
Until now, determining resonance frequency required a chest strap along with evaluation software or sessions with a biofeedback practitioner. Now, your iPhone is enough.
What the app doesn’t do
No subscription. No ads. No account. No data collection — all measurements stay on your device. And no promises that you can’t measure for yourself.
