Sound quality in the Mother Earth classical stream
Starting with the switch to 192kHz sound quality for our streams, it has to be said that the scratches in the classical recordings have become quite annoying.
We can easily solve this, of course, but it will take some time. The Klassik Kanal consists mainly of recordings from my personal collection, and these are all original pressings, some from the 1930s! By the way, I already have a few CDs from the eighties that I can no longer play.
So we’re going to give all these records a good wash and re-record them. Depending on the condition, possibly also in our High End Audio Lab with the Linn turntable and the incredible High End needle.
Further up on the to-do list, however, is the main catalog, because after the switch to 192kHz sound quality it is still a bit empty.
